Overview

May-Lee is a New Zealand trained Clinical Psychologist from Auckland who has been supervising professionals from diverse workforces since 2016. She brings specialist training in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders, with extensive experience across health, forensic, and ACC settings. Her practice encompasses a broad knowledge base across the psychological spectrum, including neurodevelopmental differences (ADHD, Autism, learning disorders), personality patterns, behavioral interventions, major mental health conditions, and general wellbeing. May-Lee draws on this comprehensive expertise to support supervisees in optimizing their professional practice and delivering high-quality care.

Skills and Experience

May-Lee holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in psychology, a Masters in Psychology, a Masters in Clinical Psychology, and a Post-graduate certificate in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her professional affiliations include membership with both the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP) and EMDRNZ,. Her supervisory experience includes roles within Ara Poutama (Department of Corrections) and working with clinicians in one-to-one therapy settings, giving her insight into diverse practice environments and therapeutic approaches.
