Naomi McLean (Counsellor)

Overview

Naomi is an experienced counsellor who has worked across agencies, schools, corporate health, and with ACC, supporting people through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. She believes that real change happens in a safe, warm, and genuine relationship that sees the whole person, not just the problem.

Supervision Approach

Naomi creates a compassionate and collaborative space where supervisees can explore their experiences, identify stuck areas, and develop new awareness. Her approach supports people to reconnect with their strengths and move towards increased self-understanding.

Skills and Experience

Naomi's approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, attachment-informed, and grounded in psychotherapeutic and cognitive-behavioural (CBT) principles. She works practically and relationally, helping people build insight they can act on.
